Advent: Part 1

Pete and I are celebrating Advent together this year for the first time and it's been fun so far.

The idea is to intentionally spend some time together doing things we love during a season that can get a little crazy and pass us by if we don't pay attention. It is also a helpful countdown of the days till Christmas, and a natural way to tie in holiday tasks such as signing Christmas cards and wrapping presents. Finally, we light the traditional advent candles on Sundays as a reminder of why Christmas is important to us.
